About José Antonio
José has been an Attorney at Altra Legal since 2021, having previously served as a paralegal since 2016. His experience is primarily based in national and international arbitrations of all types, including contractual and tort matters, and commercial disputes linked to the construction, telecommunications, energy, and sports law sectors, as well as investment arbitration.
He has also advised local and international clients on cross-border expansion processes.
He was a member of arbitration teams that competed in international competitions in Belgrade, Budapest, and Vienna in 2019, and a coach for arbitration teams competing in international competitions. He also served as an events coordinator for the Latin American Arbitration Society at NYU during his LL.M.
He is an adjunct lecturer in the courses Obligations I: Legal Facts and Acts, Obligations II, Contracts, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods at the National University of Asunción.
